Meet Doula Belle

A little bit about myself

The isolation a new mom feels prior to and after giving birth is all too real. Having grown up in France before immigrating to Florida, marrying my husband and giving birth to our baby girl, I was taken aback by how impersonal pregnancy and labor is here in the U.S. Confused, alone and not adequately informed regarding what to expect when our birthing plan unexpectedly fell through, I found myself struggling with postpartum depression after our daughter was born. Motivated to make sure mamas are provided with the support and guidance they need to prepare themselves mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually for the transition into motherhood, I have made it my mission as a doula.

Whether cooking for my family, perfecting a yoga pose or assisting new mommies as they welcome their little bundles of joy, I put passion into all that I do. I coach women and stand beside them every step of the way – from pregnancy, through childbirth and during the postpartum period. Committed to building bonds based on friendship with my expecting (and new) moms, I can be considered a trusted friend, a partner, a confidant. You shouldn't have to embark on the journey of maternity alone. With an open heart and an open mind, I am here to guide you and walk alongside you as you experience one of the most monumental events of your life.

When I'm not caring for my daughter Harper or helping my mommy clients, I enjoy crafting, riding my bike, playing board games with my hubby Joshua and cuddling with our two cats. Married to a creative artist/poet, my life is always full of creativity, love and laughter.

Let's join forces to bring your little one into the world surrounded by lots of love and good vibes. I can't wait to join you on your journey to becoming a mom. Put fear aside and buckle up for the ride. Lean on me in the good times and during bad times.

Now that you know about me I can't wait to get to know you. I will be patiently awaiting your call.

Until then, sending lots of love and light your way.

Sincerely, Doula Belle.
